Project Light: February I • Rhode Island Family Photographer

February brings a new theme for my 2016 Project Light.  January was quiet light, which was easy for me to find and plentiful as well.  February's theme is radiant light.  Radiant light, at least in its traditional form, is gorgeous.  It's also not terribly easy to find in the winter.  In February.  When it's often cloudy.

So, this new theme has required a keen eye as well as thinking outside the box.  iPhone flashlights, refrigerator light, car lights lighting up snowflakes?  Yeah, all in there.  There was also sun and a most beautiful sunset on a very, very cold day in East Matunuck.  Taking your camera with you everywhere does pay off, I promise!

Scroll on down to see what the first half of February has brought.  For all you Lionel fans, he shows up in more photos this month than last.  He may not be the most willing subject, but he sure is cute!  Have you taken any good photos, cat or otherwise, this February?  Let me know in the comments!
