Dom's Wilcox Park Senior Portraits | RI Senior Photographer
This year’s senior photo season was busy all the way up until the very end of October. We went down to the wire taking senior portraits to get into yearbooks!
Fortunately October was a great month for photos weather wise. I got to photograph East Lyme High School class of 2026 senior Dom at Wilcox Park in Westerly at the end of October, and we could not have asked for a better day! Part of the fun of having sessions in the fall is that you never know if it’s going to be beautiful weather, a hurricane, a snowstorm, super windy, or maybe all of the above on the same day…New England is crazy like that.
Dom’s photo session was special because I’ve known him since he was a baby, and his mom and I are first cousins and grew up together. Two years ago I got to take his older sister’s senior photos at Wilcox Park, and we decided on the same location for his. It’s so hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that he’s a high school senior!
We met at the park late in the afternoon right as the sun was golden and wandered around the park as the sun dipped, taking our final photos on the stone patio next to the Westerly Library. There were still plenty of leaves on the trees, with some changing and adding that little pop of fall color. Dom is hilarious and had me cracking up the entire time, and his mom was an expert at being a Human Light Stand!
Take a look below to see some of what we captured at our session. Got a senior who will need photos soon? Get in touch and we can get planning!
