South Kingstown Autumn Family Session | RI Family Photographer

Now that it’s almost spring, I thought what better time to blog some of the sessions from this past fall!

This family session is one of them. This was a great session that took place on a warm fall day on one of my favorite spots in the West Kingston area of South Kingstown. The leaves were just barely starting to change (looking back, we had a pretty warm fall…I kind of miss it!)…it was a great day for family photos.

This family had two young children. As a RI family photographer, I always suggest session times that will result in happy kids. Happy kids make for a happy session overall! While golden hour sessions are always nice, not all little ones can stay up that late (honestly, I’m not sure I can stay up that late some days). Mid-afternoon sessions are great when toddlers and young children are involved, and that is just what we did.

This family was so much fun to photograph! I brought out my photography secret weapon (bubbles) which both kids loved. The biggest hit was the crate, which both kids loved sitting not only on, but especially in. Why didn’t I ever think of this before? In between kid shots I got some sweet shots with mom and dad involved too.

Take a look below to see some of the photos from our session. There is no time that is bad for family sessions, so reach out to book yours today!
