Summer Extended Family Session • RI Family Photographer

Taking photos of extended families is wonderful!  It's great to see the interaction between grandparents, children, and grandchildren.  It's even more fun when it's a family I've photographed before.  As a RI family photographer, it's a pleasure to see these families grow.

This extended family session in early August was no exception.  It took place in a beautiful tree-lined driveway on a farm in West Kingston.  We met on a warm early morning and managed to finish our session just before it started pouring!  The last time I photographed this family all together, there were just two children.  Now there are four, soon to be five!  (And I can't wait to meet that new little guy in a few months.)

Our session was lots of fun, with plenty of running for the little ones.  Mr. V, the oldest, started that tradition a few years ago as a toddler and his brothers and older cousin have followed suit.  His youngest cousin, Mr. J, was still working hard at walking at the session.  Doesn't he have the best eyes?

Check out some of the photos from our session below!  What's your favorite part about being with your extended family?  Let me know in the comments!
