Have I been taking a photo every day? Absolutely. Have I actually gone through them and posted them here anytime recently? Not so much. So I’ve got a lot of catching up to do in that regard.

As such, we’re going to flash back to the second half of August for a little bit, when days were warmer, grass was greener, and fresh local vegetables were plentiful. It was a little bit hard for me to even remember what went on during that time until I saw the photos I took, then it all came back to me (see, photos are good!) I remembered the day that I decided to take photos of myself on a swing, the clear night that I set up my camera on a tripod in my Wakefield backyard and captured a shooting star, and more visits from my favorite little bird, the hummingbird.

Summer and fall are my busiest times as a RI family photographer and sometimes this leaves me scrambling to capture a halfway decent photo incorporating the day’s theme, but at the end of the day there’s always a photo. Take a little bit of a trip back in time to see what was going on the last half of August.

I went to visit my cousin’s children on this day, and this plant in her yard reminded me of balloons a bit.

I fully admit to borrowing this linguine for this photo. I cannot eat gluten myself, and I don’t have any gluten free noodles in the house, either.

I am not any particular religion and don’t regularly attend church but I find that being nature, whether it be the ocean or flowers or trees or anything else, is like church to me.

This was right before a huge thunderstorm came. It was so dark in the yard.

Truth be told, this image was not actually taken in the morning. I had no time in the morning that day and this photo is supposed to represent that, at least to me…my planner and paperwork based on how my morning went.
