Kinney Azalea Gardens Portrait Session | RI Family Photographer
Two things I love as a RI family photographer are when clients come back to see me for another session, and also photo sessions at Kinney Azalea Gardens. A recent spring session combined both of those into one!
Five years ago, when she was 8, I photographed Miss H in the snow. Her mom contacted me to ask me to take some updated photos. We decided to do them at Kinney Azalea Garden, which has special meaning to the family. Of course we decided to do the session when the azaleas were in bloom in mid-May. Kinney is always a gorgeous place, but its beauty when the azaleas are blooming is unparalleled.
Our session was on a gorgeous spring evening with beautiful light. I was so excited when I showed up and found Miss H wearing a beautiful dress, (along with black high top Chuck Taylors on her feet…love the style!) Another princess session was about to take place!
We explored various locations around the garden during our session. Miss H was absolutely up for some twirling! We stopped by the moon gate for some poses, and chased the light as the sun went down. Her dress looked amazing with all the blooming azaleas.
