2019 Project 365: February Part II • RI Family Photographer

Just like that, two months of 2019 are gone. For every day of those two months I’ve picked up a camera and taken a photo or two or three. Each day I’ve interpreted the given theme, sometimes with a little creativity and on some days, when I’m tired or busy, I don’t get to put as much into the photos as I’d like. But there’s still a photo.

In the second half of February, Lionel, my first furry baby, finally made it into the photos. I actually do take photos of him fairly often but they don’t always fit the daily theme, but this one did. There are a few more photos outdoors these days. Really looking forward to the spring and summer when there will be much more of an opportunity to take photos outdoors (and also more photo sessions outdoors…my favorite thing as a RI family photographer!)

Until then, I’ll enjoy the cozy days inside by the wood stove, wearing boots and fuzzy socks and petting the dog, petting the cat, and making soup. Scroll on down to see the second half of February though my eyes

2/16/19 • Date night

When your significant other works second shift, your date night is you, the dog, the cat, and some gluten free beer on the couch. Maybe some Netflix.

2/18/19 • Small

Big beach, big ocean, small dog

2/19/19 • Fresh

2/20/19 • Hair

2/21/19 • Kids

This photo was tricky for me, since I have no kids, so I interpreted it in my own way. This camera is one my father used to take photos of us when we were kids. I have it now and use it.

2/23/19 • My neighborhood

2/25/19 • Macro Monday

2/26/19 • Potato

Sweet potatoes are far more my preference than regular potatoes. I actually don’t like regular potatoes.

2/27/19 • Comfort

This little guy gives me so much comfort. He is the sweetest, fluffiest friend.

2/28/19 • Favorite flower

I’m not sure if orchids are my absolute favorite flower, but they are one of them. My very favorites are hydrangeas, lilies of the valley, and sea roses, none of which are blooming now. But orchids are also right up there on my favorites list.
