2019 Project 365: February Part I • RI Family Photographer

It’s kind of crazy to me that there are two months of 2019 (almost) gone. January and February are the months when I take a little breather as a RI family photographer. There are things going on behind the scenes …I’m always busy! But that time has just gone by in the figurative blink of an eye.

February 2 was a great day for me photo-wise (and overall) because I finally, FINALLY saw and photographed a snowy owl. I’ve been trying to find one for the last five years or so and always manage to show up right after the owl has flown off down the road somewhere. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard “you should’ve been here yesterday/this morning/three minutes ago” in my search for one. Well, finally a snowy and I managed to be in the same place at the same time. I hope to see him or one of his friends again.

Also included in the first half of February’s 365 project are a week’s worth of photos with a Valentine’s theme. Because, Valentine’s Day. It’s not my favorite holiday by any means (it’s a little too “Hallmark” for me…I love someone every day of the year) but I did manage to do my own interpretations of the prompts for those days.

Take a look below to see what went on in my life the first fourteen days of February.

FEBRUARY 1 • “RED”

FEBRUARY 2 • “3:00 PM”

FEBRUARY 3 • “SUPERBOWL SUNDAY: WHAT DID YOU DO?”

Clearly I did a lot of relaxing.

FEBRUARY 4 • “MY TOWN”

I love this view of Main St. in Wakefield.

FEBRUARY 5 • “YEAR OF THE BOAR”

This one was a hard one for me. Hydrangea flowers are a symbol of the year of he boar, so I went with that.

FEBRUARY 6 • “D IS FOR”

FEBRUARY 7 • CLOUDS

FEBRUARY 8 • LAUGH

FEBRUARY 9 • FUZZY

FEBRUARY 10 • WHAT’S YOUR IDEA OF ROMANCE

Someone who lights the wood stove and keeps me warm. I love being warm.

FEBRUARY 11 • LIPS

FEBRUARY 12 • SWEET

FEBRUARY 13 • HEART

FEBRUARY 14 • LOVE

I love hot coffee and I love Dewey Weber surfboards. What can I say.
