Project 365: The Rest Of February • Wakefield RI Photographer

Now it's March.  February is over and even though it's a short month it seems like it went by so fast.  It never ceases to amaze me how time just keeps moving no matter what.

I've been doing this project daily for 2 months now and I'm so glad I decided to do it . It's caused me to think outside the box to avoid taking the same photo daily.  Sometimes I have big ideas on a photo I want to do for a certain day.  Sometimes those plans come to fruition.  Sometimes they don't.  I don't get too worried about it because there are more days ahead and I don't have to do everything all at once.  Just one day at a time.

One thing I am enjoying is snow.  There are so many opportunities to the photos of all sorts with snow and there are so many more I want to do and spring is coming (eventually) so my time with these snow photos is very limited, at least until next winter.  I will have to move on to other things  (or other weather events!)

For now, scroll down and see what happened the second half of this month.  Cats, a couple of self portraits, taking photos of food...it's all in there.  As always lens and setting included as this is a frequent request.

February 23, 2015 • 16-35L • 16mm, f4, 1/125, ISO 400.  This sunset was the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen in my life.  For  long time, the sunsets in Puerto Rico held that place.  This one trumped them all and it's nice to know my most beautiful sunset was at home.
