Miss E's Forest Princess Session • Rhode Island Children's Photographer

December in Rhode Island might not seem like the best time to have a photo shoot in the woods, at least one that doesn’t involve snow or at least lots of shivering.  This year, though, that isn’t the case.  We’ve been fortunate enough to have fairly warm weather for most of the month so far; great news for a Rhode Island children’s photographer like me!

I got to take advantage of this weather one recent early December afternoon when I had a princess photo shoot with Miss E.  Miss E, her parents, and I traveled to Thewlis Woods, a wooded parcel in Wakefield owned by the South Kingstown Land Trust (check it out…it’s great for an easy and scenic hike!).

Miss E was definitely channeling Merida in her green dress.  She was an absolute delight to hang out with.  She has the best personality, she’s very smart (she taught me the scientific name for numerous sharks) and she’s adorable to boot.  She kept me on my toes through the entire afternoon session, and she was up for all kinds of things.  Trekking through the woods, spinning around, you name it…Princess E did it.

Take a look below to check out our session.  I’d love to have a princess photo session with your little princess; contact me to set yours up!
