Project 365: Autumn September • Rhode Island Family Photographer

Breaking update:  autumn has arrived.  As I mentioned in my last 365 installment, I'm a big fan of any season that's spelled summer but I don't get along too well with the others.  True, September weather wasn't horrible, and I'm trying to embrace my inner falling leaf, but the cool nights are making me wonder just when it is that I might permanently make a move to the tropics.

Nevertheless, I've still enjoyed the transition from summer to fall so far, or at least I'm trying.  What has the second part of September held?  A short summary:

  • One of the last big tomatoes from my farm share at Greenview Farm
  • A few photos of my favorite blog-shy assistant (one of the photos has the most beautiful light down in East Matunuck.  Try to picture it!  I know you can.)
  • One photo from a recent senior photo session at Camp Hoffman in Kingston, RI
  • The eclipse
  • The cat, clearly.  Come on now.

Take a look below to see what happened in September.  I'm trying to come up with some good ideas for fall...family cider making will be on the calendar I'm sure.  Put your favorite fall activity in the comments, and in the meantime, have a look at September.
